Statement # 10: We can accept Intelligent Design because we are creatures of communication.
Scientific Rule: Observation/Logic
Evidence: There have been no cases I can find that indicate language is something less that the product of intelligence. Language groups by the hundreds and thousands can be located around the world. In each case the dialect was derived through the efforts of intelligent human beings and their desire to communicate intelligently.
Our DNA provides the intelligence to design our bodies specifically and uniquely. The coded information in our DNA is more elaborate than any computer program, and each individual human is unique in their DNA design.
One of the byproducts of the communication we find in our DNA is the rapid manufacture of proteins. Dr. Gerald Schroeder indicates, "Other than sex and blood cells, every cell in your body is making approximately two thousand proteins every second. A protein is a combination of three hundred to over a thousand amino acids. An adult human body is made of approximately seventy-five trillion cells. Every second of every minute of every day, your body and every body is organizing on the order of 150 thousand thousand thousand thousand thousand thousand amino acids into carefully constructed chains of proteins. Every second; every minute; every day. The fabric from which we and all life are built is being continually rewoven at a most astoundingly rapid rate." [1]
Complex proteins are essential to life. These complex proteins have not been show by evolutionary theory to have a mechanism for spontaneous development. They only develop in the complex and existing bodies that give evidence of intelligent design.
