Obvious Truths was started to give people from around the world the opportunity to explore life's origins through simple everyday logic and analogies. Although we may allude to scientific principles or laws, our goal is to keep the site very user friendly.
Contrary to popular belief, it is not difficult or confusing to discover life's most important issues. In fact, if done with an honest and open mind, these answers become obvious.
We hope you find this site to be a valuable resource in your quest for the truth.

Our logo shows the earth placed within a fingerprint. We believe when the evidence for the origin of life is looked at with an open and honest mind, that the fingerprint of the designer will be clearly seen
The Premise
At Obvious Truths we know there are a multitude of sites dedicated to origins and many are extremely effective in presenting extremely technical arguments. Since this strategy is in common use we opted for a discussion on origins that is based more on logical analysis. We will present technical aspects of the issue, but we will most often appeal to the need for a logical approach to assimilating the data related to origins.
OUR GOAL
We begin by tipping our hand. We come at the subject of origins with a bias toward intelligent design. We feel intelligent design is supported both logically and scientifically, but we attempt to present arguments in a way that invites discussion and understanding.
The intent of this site is not to be a simple resource for those who may already believe in intelligent design, but also for those who are willing to consider all possibilities in an easy to navigate environment with an online community for meaningful dialogue on issues of origin.
We are not so much interested in preaching a belief system as we are exploring many of the issues related to origins. We will follow the theory of evolution and intelligent design to logical conclusions in an easy to read format.
We are not interested in sparking heated debate, but in presenting a series of informative articles that allow visitors to follow us through issues of life's origin and how we got to where we are.
OUR COMMUNITY
Our visitors come from all walks of life, all points of view and may even have iron-clad ideas that are not open to discussion. We do require civility among all members when discussing issues in the community section, which is designed to allow you to look at origin from a scientific, spiritual and social perspective.
